    Purpose of this assignment: The aim of this unit is to develop learners' skills and understanding of the range of fabrics and materials, equipment, and production processes used within the manufacture of fashion garments. Scenario Frill Noun - a trimming, as a strip of cloth or lace, gathered at one edge and left loose at the other; ruffle. During the workshops you will have investigated different types of frills and practiced constructing them in different fabrics, and also experimented with how to use them creatively to embellish or create a garment. You are now asked to construct a well finished sample garment.
